Digital Remedy today announced the addition of media veteran and advertising industry trailblazer, Donna Speciale, President of Ad Sales at Turner, to the Board of Directors. It’s a powerful move as Digital Remedy continues to strengthen the company’s executive team and board. Not only does Speciale wield major industry credibility, she adds a unique perspective to the board—traditionally from ad tech and media operations backgrounds—due to her expertise in off- and online media, strategy, and investment.

Speciale is a leader and futurist, transforming the use of advanced data and premium content to optimize user experience and drive ROI. “Donna is widely recognized as one of the best industry strategists, having foreseen how TV should be folded into the video category,” said Mike Seiman, Chairman and CEO of Digital Remedy. “Such prescience will enable us to smoothly navigate the coming convergence of digital content, film, video, and social for the benefit of our clients.”

Digital Remedy is looking forward to leveraging her knowledge, experience, and vision. At Turner she is a leading voice in the expansion of audience targeting, and has been instrumental in the groundbreaking launch of OpenAP, a platform that powers audience-based buying. Speciale’s background includes two decades on the agency-side, most recently as president of investment, activation, and agency operations at MediaVest Worldwide, overseeing multi-channel media and investments for major clients such as Kraft, Walmart, P&G, and The Coca-Cola Company.

Well-known for driving innovation in the marketplace and the recipient of numerous industry recognitions, Speciale is an awesome addition to the company, and we look forward to having her be part of the leadership team. Likewise, Speciale has said, “Digital Remedy has been at the forefront of new media ad advancements since digital’s early days, and I’m pleased to join their Board of Directors.”

Speciale joins Mike Seiman; Nick Pahade, Digital Remedy COO and President (and former CEO of the recently acquired CrowdHere); Bob Hussey, CEO of Goppi USA; Matthew Fanelli, SVP, MNI Targeted Media; Keith Kaplan, former Global President of Monetization for King Entertainment; and, David Zapletal, EVP of Media Operations at Digital Remedy.
